This guide lists all migrations required from Intershop Order Management 5.0 to 5.1. The document is aimed at project developers.
Database Migration Down Time
The database migration from 5.0 to 5.1 does not require the application to be shut down.
Added Configuration Option to Encrypt Communication with Mail Server
IOM Helm Charts 3.1.0 or later are required to use the new IOM 5.1 feature, see https://github.com/intershop/helm-charts/releases/tag/iom-3.1.0.
If you do not use this feature, IOM Helm Charts 3.0 are sufficient.
