Associating Promotion Code Groups with Promotions

This task can be either performed on the General tab in the promotion code group details view, or on the Promotion Code tab in the promotion details view.

The following steps assume that you will use option one:

  1. Select the channel from the context selection box, then select Marketing | Promotion Codes and switch to the Promotion Code Groups tab.
    This displays a list of existing promotion code groups.
  2. Click the intended promotion code group.
    The promotion code group details view is displayed. The bottom of the tab shows the list of promotions with which the promotion code group is currently associated.
  3. Click Add.
    A list of all promotions in the management context is displayed.
  4. Select one or multiple promotions, then click Assign.
    The association between promotion code group and promotion(s) is created.
    Note:
    You cannot select promotions that are configured to not require promotion codes. Enable the usage of promotion codes first, as described Enabling Promotion Codes for Promotions.
